U.S. Embassy in Doha, Qatar

Overview
Richärd Kennedy Architects served as Design Architect, with KCCT as Architect of Record and AICI as Design/Build Contractor for this 12.3-acre site. The design evokes Qatar’s rich cultural history and American values through shade structures inspired by Bedouin tents, stone arcades reminiscent of historic souqs, and a contemporary brise-soleil system that diffuses desert sunlight. Landscaped plazas and water features emphasize resource stewardship while creating micro-climates throughout the campus.
